Coinbase Ads Back to Facebook and Google

Google and Facebook kept their promise to review the ban on cryptocurrency projects ads and, apparently, decided to start with the American exchange Coinbase. Currently Coinbase ads are back to Facebook and Google.

Coinbase Ads Back to Facebook and Google

CEO of Coinbase Brian Armstrong made a post in his Twitter with a screenshot of the Facebook ad, which became a vivid confirmation of the statement of partial cancellation of the ban, which Facebook did at the end of June.
“Facebook banned ads for crypto earlier this year. Proud to say we’ve now been whitelisted and are back introducing more people to an open financial system”.

At the end of last month, Facebook announced that to obtain permission to publish cryptocurrency and related services ads, advertisers should provide data on licenses, listing on exchanges and any important public information about their business. Thus, the total ban was significantly weakened.
Google did not make any announcement regarding possible permission to publish crypto ads, but the Reddit user posted a screenshot, which also displays a Coinbase ad that users can see if they make a search using keyword “bitcoin” in google.

Ban on Cryptocurrency ads

We remind that Facebook, Google and Twitter, one by one, have placed restrictions on cryptocurrency and related services ads this year.
Twitter has not yet removed the ban on cryptocurrency ads , but its decision to ban was particularly unexpected, given that CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey repeatedly spoke positively about bitcoin and integrated it into his other business, the Square payment platform.
Meanwhile, the information that Facebook restored Coinbase ads, again has renewed the rumours that Coinbase could be acquired by Facebook.

Users accepted the changes in Facebook ad policy mostly positively and noted that the cryptocurrency industry can strengthen its reputation.
Investor and entrepreneur Alistair Milne commented this in his Twitter post: ““Google and Facebook are both allowing Coinbase to advertise again … the 2018 Bitcoin adoption rate has probably already bottomed” .

Today, July 24, Bitcoin price has overcome the psychological mark of $ 7800, and then it reached $8000.
